Mares
At Star Walkers we take pride in our broodmares. Our mares all have nice temperments, balanced conformation and good natural gaits. To produce a nice quality foal you have to start with nice quality horses! And we believe that's what we have at Star Walkers. We also limited the number of mares that we breed each year so we do not flood the market will too many young horses.
If you are interested in purchasing an unborn foal from any of our mares contact us and we will let you know how a minimal deposit will hold the foal until weaning!

Fancy's Thunder
Thunder is just a fun little mare to ride! She had a limited showing career and never made it to the Alberta Celebration to qualify
for Year End Awards. She has a really nice runwalk with lots of headshake. She's really awesome and walks like the wind, barefoot,
out in the pasture. Now she's basically just used as a broodmare. She's produced some nice walking babies! Don't be fooled by her size!
She produces some big babies.
I didn't breed Thunder this year. I will probably breed her in 2011.

Buster's Loose Woman
Bussy is a gorgeous black powerful mare. Her name fits her perfectly! She's so loose and has a really nice stride just out in the pasture.
I'm hoping she will cross nice with Fini as she has no Pride of Midnight in her pedigree at all!
In the fall of 2008 I started riding Bussy. She did not catch and I was bored. I had been told that I shouldn't try riding her. Well I didn't listen and I'm so glad! Since I've started riding her she has never offered to rear or buck and is a blast to ride. I started showing her in 2009. In her first two shows she won over 80% of her classes! In 2009 she was GNR High Point Lite Shod 2-Gait, Alberta Celebration High Point OGB, and WCR High Point Lite Shod 2 Gait. She also has numerous wins in Halter/Model and English and Western Championship classes. At the end of the year she was TWHAWC Super Horse and Year End High Point 2-Gait Lite Shod Horse. As well as being a fantastic show horse Bussy is also a solid trail horse. Pretty good for a horse I shouldn't be riding!
Bussy had a big black filly in April 2010. She will not be bred again until Spring 2011 or 2012

Get It On!
Riley is an awesome horse. She’s flashy, and big moving. A real eye catcher in the show ring. She is very talented with a huge
overstriding, headshaking gait. She also has a beautiful easy rolling canter that is a joy to ride. She has had several beautiful, well put together
foals with lots of promise.
Riley is a great ambassador of the breed. She was shown at the Mane Event in Red Deer again this year. She is currently being used as a lesson horse.
She is bred to Fini for a April 2011 Foal.
